I have a 2007 Octavia 2.0 TDI L&K DST which is experiencing sudden loss of power. This can happen at speed (on the motorway) or when driving slowly. It started off happening only a few times but now can occur as many as 5 times in a few miles at slow speed. Thw dealer has put this on diagnostics bur nothig comes up. Seems to happen only when the car is warmed up. No lights or smoke when this happens and the way I recover is to put the car in Neutral, blip the engine and then back into drive. Will reoccur a few miles later.

Becoming a serious safety issue and it can happen at traffic lights or going round a roundabout and worse on the motorwway. car has only done 20K miles but is just about to run our of warranty.

Any ideas?
