My 2003 VRS has died (Usual oil pump failure) and I have been told that the cylinder head is cracked. Can anybody let me know roughly how much I am looking at for one and does anyone know where is the best place to get one from?

You can try eBay or hopefully someone decides to break one, though Clive hasn't bought another one yet.

I welded my head (erm...cylinder head ) about 1 year ago and it's still ok. Haven't gone easy on the car during this time either. Over here the cost to weld it was about 300 euro.
