Octavia vRS delays

Featured Replies

Hi, folks. I ordered a petrol vRS in June and can't wait. I hadn't realised how good the cars Skoda makes are, and the vRS seems like an awful lot of car for the money. The online community seems to be friendly and helpful too and devoid of the snobbery or one-upmanship I saw on other sites (visited when I was trying to make my mind up which car/manufacturer to go for). Having said that I can't wait, sadly it looks like I'll have to. Originally I was told to expect the car in mid-September; now the dealer is telling me it won't arrive until the middle of November-crikey! They say that it's down to the huge demand rather than the flood in the factory but whatever the reason it's left me feeling fairly frustrated. Hey ho, nowt I can do. Roll on November.

Welcome to Briskoda and the queue for cars, you will get used to it, and although i'm still waiting i am sure it will be worth the wait.
