Glass Cutter

Featured Replies

Never really used it before but did the inside and outside of all my glass in the car today, and its come up shiney shiney. :D Got rid of pretty much all the grease, the leftovers of my tired ombrello coating, and polished too.

Had to use the wipers on the way home and the streakiness I used ot get has gone! :) Mental note, must use glass cutter more often. (except when a fresh coat of ombrello is on, when something else will be needed)

Oh, the only downside is all the tiny chips on the screen suddenly appear, and are much more visible thanks to everything else being spotless.

Sounds like something I could use to clean the muck off my screen :)

What product did you use and where did you buy it?

I bought it off a dodgy geezer who drove a 1.4 16V at the time, but now drives a 1.9 SDI octavia. ;)

Its just halfords glass cutter, although "autoglym glass polish" has the same effect I've found after using that on the Octavia. :D

Thanks Jason
