Wanted - 5 spoke alloy off 05 Elegance

Featured Replies

A pothole (thanks Surrey CC) has wiped out one of my alloys. Now the tyre won't seal properly.

Anyone know where I can get a cheap replacement?

05 Elegance

Assuming it's a 'Solid' wheel then I would suggest your local stealer or eBay...........

They aint cheap new mind, same thing happened to me last year, same rims. I ended up buying a second hand set of Audi rims, worked out cheaper. You be looking at over £300 from stealer for 1 rim.

I have on occasion seen the odd "Solid" wheel listed on ebay for reasonable money, often listed as elegance wheels  .

Thanks for the advice but I'm moving the car on in a month and don't want to spend £300 on a new alloy.

Anyone changed their rims and have a spare 5 spoke solid sitting in the garden?

There was some one on here recently who said they had 3 Solids I seem to recall, It was a thread about a guys superb on these wheels. May be worth trecking back a few pages and trying to find out who it was. Thread was a white Superb, they guy had bought my 3 alloys and sourced a 4th.

I've gone back about 10 pages but not been able to find anything.

Was it on the Skoda forum?

Thanks

Yep, have you used the 'search function'?

Searched for 'alloys', 'rims' 'solid's, '5 spoke' and combinations thereof. I've not tried 'white Superb' as yet. Will give it a try.

Maybe someone has got a Superb for spares (ebay of course)

Tried that. There are a couple but I need the 5 spoke solids off an Elegance. Nothing else will do.

Thanks anyway.

Any more clues as to who the poster may be?

Thanks, I've PM'd him. Awaiting response.
