Hi there guys,

I'm Joel, from Looe in Cornwall and have recently purchased an Octavia 1.9TDI Ambiante...

Was a bargain at £4500 with only 20k on the clock, 04 plate...

Bought it about 2 weeks ago, still haven't had the pleasure of a cruise in it as there's a massive problem with the central locking.

Luckily I did the smart thing and bought it from a skoda dealership so they have the joy of fixing it.

Came here in search of someone giving me a little insight as to what the problem might be.

Central locking erratically locking and unlocking when driving and also whilst unlocking the car...

One downer of an introduction but once it's fixed i'll be happy as Larry (Nice chap, know him well).

Hello, can anyone help! I have a kamiq and at 55,000 my car suddenly failed, teva burning smell and no power. Was told it needed a clutch replacement and brakes replacement. £2,500. I questioned this as I’ve been driving for 34 years and never burnt out a clutch. I was forced to pay. I had raised questions about the car having a fault. Was told it was driver error. Fast forward 8 weeks and my clutch failed again - the same burning smell. Garage are unbelievably wanting £1,500 to replace again!!

Hi. Just see that my 2023 skoda sportline karoq 19 inch wheels 19 inch. Sagittarius I believe? One of the covers is missing. Unsure if has been missing long and wanted your take on whether it has been stolen or has just fell off due to bad clips or design flaws. See photo of good wheel and the trim removed. I bought a sportline flat bottom steering wheel but it was the heated version with the view button. I knew the airbag would have a bit of a gap but I didn’t like how it looked or felt overall. So I now have that for sale if anyone is interested. I am on the hunt for a round leather steering wheel. Version with phone button not view button, but with the DSG paddles. If anyone can point me in the direction of the correct part number or even if you have one for sale please let me know!

Last year I had my 2013 Mk. 2 Fabia air conditioning (A/C) serviced by WeChillAnyCar - I had used them before on a different car. They extracted the gas, refilled it, (allegedly) tested that everything worked and I paid them for the work.. I didn't think to test it until a few weeks later when I discovered that it didn't work at all. Hi all, Anyone else getting repeat Infotainment updates that don't appear to be installing, I'm getting this problem on my 2024 Superbs Infotainment unit nearly every day, when I look on the Information tab I can see the updates and when it says they're installed, and a prompt to say the installation will be active the next time the car is started, so all looks correct. But literally the next day I'll get another message on the screen to say updates are available and ready to install, and the sa
