Nice!!!

Got the LED Side light bulbs today, and if they work out the DRL will be next, have a really stupid issue though, I cant change the side light bulb, I cant seem to get at it at all!!!!! GGRRRRRRRR

Fogs and DRL's are easy.

The sidelights I did not do as they looked like you needed thin multi knuckled fingers to get to them.

Phil

Sidelights are tricky, in the end I very carefully but forcefully pulled the wires, they both came out fine in one movement. ;)

I guess thats the "trade" secret exposed now? :giggle:

Now I have seen it mentioned that the Mtec sidelights are not very bright, but the object of the exercise for me was NOT to be seeing yellow in the headlight cluster. Well, they do just that and remain legal, so jobs a good-un

Personally I think the OE sidelights are pretty white as std (I bought my Mtec ones before I collected the car and had seen them, if I had seen the OE ones then I would not of bothered)

You certainly cannot see any yellow light with the Mtec ones fitted, come to think about it you can barely see ANY light from them :giggle:,

I also tried them in the tailgate and they are just as poor in there! Total waste of money IMO ..... BUT if anyone wants to buy some I know where there are a pair going :giggle:.

Going slightly off the post, but does anyone get when on high beam lighting up the tops of trees?

Phil.

Phil.

My highbeams are searchlights, not for lighting the road up, but for shining at neighbours bedroom windows to make sure they get up, also useful for seeing who's riding upstairs on the bus. :giggle:

Yeah, good for trees too.
