350Z to vRS

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, just a quick post to say hi, I'm Marc and currently drive a Nissan 350Z which will be going up for sale once I find a nice Fabia vRS (diesel). I'm really looking forward to getting one, had a test drive a couple of weeks back and it was a lot of fun to drive.

I think I'd prefer the special edition vRS as the seats in the standard one look like they'd be difficult to keep clean (the ones I've seen have all looked discoloured, especially the drivers seat). Has anyone any experience of this and been able to keep them looking good? I did look at getting a new vRS and even had a test drive (another very fun car to drive, but I don't know how much MPG will be possible in it!) but the diesel one as a whole package is just too tempting.

This will be my 3rd car in 3 years (I'm 24), nothing wrong with either of my first two cars, I just love trying out different cars for a decent period of time. My first car was a black Corsa 1.4 SRi, current car is a blue 350Z, both were 2005/05 plates.

I look forward to talking to everyone about anything Skoda/car related.

Welcome to Briskoda

Davy

Wow that's a massive change. I've driven the 350Z and I can't think of a car more opposite to the Fabia. You won't know what to do with all the fuel money you'll save :D

As much as I like my petrol Octavia VRS, If I had a Nissan 350Z would I change it for a Vrs? No! I can only think the reason you want to sell the 350Z is because of the high running cost. The 350Z or Honda S2000 will be my next car in 3 years time. Welcome to the forum and good luck with finding a Fabia Vrs

Massive change indeed Lady Elanore, I'll use the money saved to buy a GTR in a couple of years!

Tis going to be a sad day when it goes though but I need a more practical and economical car but I still want something fun, difficult combination! I love the S2000, can see myself getting one of them later in life (insurance is about twice as bad as the 350Z!)

Hey ZmarcZ do you own that gold one with black zigzags near fishermans sq.

Hi and welcome aboard.

thats a nice Z! iam jumping from a similar jap motor, rx8 great fun, but hellishly expensive to own and run.

ordered a new fabia vrs. good luck with the sale.

I have to say I always felt a little special when driving the 350Z (I sold Nissans for a short while). Great value sports car. I think if I had owned one, it might even have put hairs on my chest!!!!

Now i am not sure that is what the manufacturers intended Amanda

welcome to briskoda nice 350z , bet that is not cheap to run and insure at 24

Lovely Z, my mate in work has a grey one on a 07 plate. Awesome to drive, had a bash in the snow/slush and when the rear steps out it's fairly difficult to hold lol Great car nonetheless!

Cheers, yeh its not the cheapest car to insure (or run) but it is ridiculously good fun! The car is completely different is dry and wet (or even slightly damp) conditions, you have to be especially careful with your feet in the wet!

What the hell do you do for a living to be able to afford to run and insure that, never mind buying it in the first place, at the tender age of 24? You're just a pup

Seriously though, nice car, and welcome

Welcome aboard. Lovely looking Z that, great colour choice emoticon-0103-cool.gif

Good luck with the change.
