Back from Europe

I am pleased to say we clocked up 3200 miles in our Superb over the holidays touring Europe last two weeks. No issues at all, except for the suspension clonking which I posted on separately - turned out to be inboard front pads fitted wrong way round (my fault for not reading the instructions!), so the offside one moved a couple of millimetres. Swapped around and no problems.

The tank vent mod is great, 63 litres of diesel giving us a useful range of 550 miles mostly at 90 mph, with the occasional 120+, and slowing down for overnight speed restrictions at certain sections on the Autobahn. We crossed Germany in 5 hours overnight, Austria to Holland, no refuelling in-between, nice. Long live the Superb! Such a comfortable car with a huge boot - only when we started unpacking did I realise just how much stuff the car managed to swallow.
