My son in law has a seat ibiza with dsg gearbox and has suffered his second dead battery in six months. I suggested he jump started it (it was nose first in the garage) but he said you can't roll it out of the garage. Is this the case with the dsg box on fabias?

Surely you can turn the key to unlock the DSG and then put it in N to roll it out?

You can't jump start these cars as far as I'm aware. Battery out and charge it.

Of course you can jump start them. It even tells you how in the manual.

Bump start you can't do on Auto's.

Sorry not can't but shouldn't. Damaging to the Electrics I've read somewhere
