Off to Shark Performance for first ever remap

Featured Replies

Im off to Shark performance for a remap this Saturday and I seriously cant wait!! First remap ever so i can imagine there will be a huge difference and i hear the map is very smooth. The only thing that worries me is clutch and turbo but I will have to make sure Im gentle with it! I will let turbo warm up and no flooring it at low revs. Anyone else gonna be there this Sat?

I'm sure you will not be disappointed :) Like a kid at Christmas I bet :p

Enjoy

It's where I'll be heading to have my map removed and changed

later in the year.

What map do you already have and come your changing to shark :)

That's the reason I want to change it.

I have no idea when, where and by whom it was mapped.

The previous owner claimed it was standard when I bought the car.

It wasn't until it was rolling roaded until I discovered otherwise.

I'd probably do the same if I were you, was your dyno print off smooth or spikes?

Just wondering do you get a dunno print out at shark?

I'm not enough of an expert to determine whether or not this is

a good graph or not.

Don't get me wrong the car drives fine, a tiny bit smoky when

giving it full power but apart from that okay.

I just would rather know for sure that it isn't a generic map

and would rather have custom software to suit my car.

I go at my vrs re-mapped at shark in november and i have to say my car drives as smooth as standard,it just goes a lot harder when you want it to.You wont regret it thats for sure.

No you wont get a power print out unless you pay for a dyno run, which i think is £60.

im in the same boat as you bud,im looking into my 1st ever re-map as we speak, shark seems to be the place to go,im only 10 minutes drive from jabba sports,so im still not sure where to take my car, anyway good luck, have to let me know how u get on. :)

I have owned the car 5 years but have always been nervous about mapping. I feel after reading alot of reviews I am in safe hands. I just want it as smooth as possible and I dont care about how powerful it is. Feels like xmas eve to me. lol. I will update tomorrow once its been mapped and Iv driven home to Huntingdon.

I've just got home and boy has it transformed the car! The map is so smooth and I can't believe the extra oomph you get mid range. Best thing I've done to the car!
