Just bought a new Superb estate although not new to Skodas, bought my faithful Octavia new in 2004 and hope this one will be jus as good. Full of good expectations since this new one is better than I had expected it to be.

So, help looking for a spare wheel. It niggled a bit the Octavia had 4 alloys and a steel spare, but the new Superb doesn't even have a spare. Punctures aren't often and bad ones which are more than a nail through the tread are fairly rare but I drive abroad a bit and don't want to find I'm stranded with a tyre beyond help and no spare.

Ideally, I'd like an alloy matching the 16" Greenline version, a full size steel or a spacesaver would be accepted. However, as much as I've trudged around t'interweb I haven't found any. Is the Superb estate and greenline too new or am I just not looking in the right place?

Any advice is welcome.

PS. Does the silly greenline bage on the wing peel off easily or is it a bodyshop only job?

You are looking in the wrong places, the spec you require for the wheel is

5x112 (PCD)

7J x16"

ET45

57.1mm centre bore (std across the VAG range)

Fitted with a 205/55/16 tyre (check the load index of the tyre is high enough for the Superb)

You will also need the tool kit as well.

Spare should've been an option available pre or post order.

However not sure about the greenline, prob only available from the dealers after order.

Gizmo 68. Thanks for that info. Sorry for delay responding, been holiday since posted the question. Spoke to the dealer who supplied the car, gave them the part numbers quoted on the ebay link and they sorted it for me. Picked it up today.

Still as yet have only 652 miles on clock and its already returning 67mpg on the run to from Peterborough, incl some town work. Roll on when its run in! The old Octavia loosened up around 10k and hardly ever returned less than 60. So I'm expecting to get the claimed 70+ out of this one.
