Windscreen trim came off on motorway!

Featured Replies

Lastnight the n/s windscreen plastic vein type thing (lets call it a thingy) came off, held on merely by its top clip, but bent back on itself by the wind. Its not a car that I expect things to fall off, i was looking for a tank. Anyway, took it to a local dealer today who thought it would be fine to just clip it back on. When told that would not do the response was 'I'll see what I can do'. Also I was informed that I would have to book the car in for a software update to the power steering. Anyone else aware of what this update is for? Hopefully it will remove a turn full lock to full lock :D

I'll ask that the handbrake is adjusted then ;)

For no more than 3 clicks just to make the turn VERY sharp.
