Tinternet is not working.

Featured Replies

Can anybody shed any light on this ? BT broadband can't, as i have just had a 30 min deep and meaningful conversation with a recorded receptionist. :finger:

PROBLEM

trying to connect to internet ...ok... modem connects, homepage appears for about 30 secs then connection drops out ...i think the error that appears is error 719 ppp error ..the computer then re connects for a further 30 secs then drops out again .

on the modem the power light is on the dsl light occasionally flashes and the data light flashes all the time...done the power down and disconnect the usb cable power up and re connect usb but still no chocolate watch.

was meant to be working from home today not in my work where i am sitting right now ....

Although this is on a Plusnet page, error 719 is listed as " Error 719: PPP terminated by remote machine." - so it could be a fault at BTi's end, rather than anything going with your hardware...

BT Yahoo! service status says there's problems at the Norwich and Eailing exchanges....
