Does anybody have any experience of this? I'm intending to go hang out this winter in the Italian Alps and I wanna drive down there. So far, the only place I've found that offers full year-round European cover is Stuart Collins. All the mainstream companies only do 90 days and that's no long enough for me.

Any other ideas?

Yeah, a couple of the usual suspects for us "specialist/modified" types and both a resounding no. Car's not modified, so I only need a standard policy. But apparently, underwriters don't like it.
