octavia vrs pd new injectors

Featured Replies

Hello everybody, had my octavia for 16 months now and to be honest its been good for the 18k miles i've put on her until Tuesday 28/8/2012 when she packed up with very little warning one beep a flash first from the glow plug then low oil pressure engine died ,glad i wasn't on the motorway!!! anyway had to phone the AA he tried but no good so he towed me to a local vag specalist who cleared all codes still no go,now my car injectors were relaced in May but they didn't change the wiring which i thought was pretty dumb ,so having this problem i thought i would phone skoda uk who now have taken my car to the skoda dealer who did the injector work as the vag specalist is a independent , i wonder if i'm going to get a big bill ? the vag specialist was great he thinks its the wiring loom as its old and apparently soaked in oil failing that uprated injectors my a--e!!!!! any thoughts?
