These speakers ok for my vrs fab?

Featured Replies

Should be, but you may need adapters.

Best off with components though, separate woofer and tweeters for sound quality.

Why would i need adapters? I have read somewhere else that as long as the speakers are less than 65mm deep then they should fit in the stock locations without issue,

I've fitted some 16.5cm speakers @ the weekend but they were too deep so had to mount them backwards. lol.

To make it deeper I believe other wise it might touch the door. I could be wrong though. :)

Mount them backwards? How does that work?

I have 65mm in mine - components will sound better.

The OEM speakers are mounted in a pre-moulded unit. When you take these out there are no speaker mounts - just a hole. Therefore you need mounting adapters. Either plastic or MDF rings, or make your own:

That's what I meant :)

I have some plastic ones ready for mine and the speaker cable adapters.
