Retrofit heated seats?

Featured Replies

Hello :D

I recently got some mkiv recaros with the heat seat option. With winter fastly approaching Im looking at wiring them up.

Anyone know exactly how its done? Done my research on here but everyone only seems to ask with not much on answers

I would like to use the oem octavia switch P/n 1u6963563C

But from what I gather I cant use the wiring loom I got with the seats as the relay's in the switches are different.

Anyone know what I need and where I could get it to fit them?

I sincerely hope that's gloves on your hands. :giggle:

Nice switch though. Watching this one, if it's an easy, relatively cheap fix, might wire up my S3 seats...

Where does that switch fit? In the blank spot next to the heated rear window button by any chance?

Yup that's where they go

Sent from my Galaxy S2 not a Crapple!

Hi I have heated seats 2 and the same switch, but I have the loom from kuftec but the plugs are different :( I've been after a wiring loom from an octy mk1 for ages to see how to wire it in but have found nothing I hope u have more luck as I've come to a dead end

Good luck with this
