Octavia problems!

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm new to Briskoda but have read some of your topics before to help me out -Thanks! Thought I'd join in and help others and also ask for some help!

I have two octavias, an old 54 plate 2.0 TDi 140 Elegance hatchback, and I've just bought a new VRS blackline estate.

The old 140 TDi has an EGR fault. I've read some topics on the internet about changing the ECU values but they seem to refer an newer ECU than mine (a PD engine). Some people have mentioned changing the 5 digit number using a vagcom but it doesn't show one. Anyone know how to adjust the older ECUs?

On the new Octavia Blackline has some sections of the leather seats are not the best, with the leather not pulled smooth before it was stitched in place. I'm in discussions with the dealer but just wondering if others have had similar issues.

Thanks.
