Just renewed the insurance via www.confused.com and knocked

I found confused.com more expensive than if I had visited the insurer's own site and also they call you in the middle of the day, which is very annoying when you try to sleep. But, if it saved you money, then great!

I tried that before I bought the new policy and it was cheaper using confused than through the insurance companys own site. Perhaps its all down to personal circumstances.

If you haven't taken it out yet, it's also worth trying Chris Knott (as advertised on here) as you'll get a 10 Brisky discount too. They saved me over 100 quid on a very reasonable renewal quote too (with all mods declared!)

Out of interest are they only good for vrs owners, or would a decent quote be available to a Classic owner too?

I've been looking at renewal quotes for mine and they all seem to have gone up which is a bit worrying considering what it cost last year. At least it's only group 9, god knows what an Octy Vrs would cost.
