Diagnostic USB cable and software disc 16 pin

Featured Replies

Hi I am starting to do some of my own servicing on my 1.4 fabia and have seen the above advertised for about £12. If it works I should be most impressed. Has any one tried this type of USB to laptop thing? Comments Please -- bear with me such things did not exist when I used to work on cars last!

Will only be able to read basic Generic codes, not manufacturer specific ones. Also you won'y be able to do any programming with it and will likely have illegal cracked software bundled with it...

If you want to be able to complete full diagnostic, turn out airbag and ABS lights and complete programming on the Fabia you will need a Ross-Tech VCDS interface
