will there be a 184 0r 177 bhp superb?

Featured Replies

hi, just wondering will there be a power increase in the near future,as in octavia and the passat.   cheers  paul

Theoretically I would expect anything as possible that has been introduced with the VW Golf already. The Octavia III is at least one generation newer. Don't expect new sat navi either in the Superb.

I very much doubt it. They'll keep the new engines for the new cars and the old engines for the old cars (the superb facelift doesn't count as new ;) )

As above, new engines when new cars arrive. I cannot see Skoda making major changes to the current Supurb given that it only has 18 months or so left before a brand new model is due.

AH but the passat went from 170 to 177 this year without any changes at all,i guess your right though...... :wonder:  :wonder:

Indeed. How many different bhp outputs to VAG deploy from that one engine. Can't make sense. I count:

136

140

150

163

170

177

184

You missed 110 and 143, but there several different engines in there. They just all happen to be 2 litre diesels.

Do you remember Sergej Bubka? Making cash with every single cm he gained ?

He wiuld had been with the Klammerbeutel gepudert, if had made the full height in one jump.
