Will the Fabia VRS be ok to do this up to 6 days a week, especially with winter coming up and the car taking a lot longer to warm up.

 

Well i know it's not about to explode for doing only 5 miles but i'm thinking more of in the long run, if i was to do this on a regular basis for the next 2 years, would it do any damage??

 

I understand that the MPG will be a lot lower but the shorter journey makes up for that.

I've been doing 6 miles each way in mine for the past 5 years. You obviously can't drive it hard as it just warms up as you arrive at work but its done Ok. Still gets the odd long trip and hard drive to clear it out.

My commute is 1 mile.  I'll stick take the car if the weather is a bit rubbish.  Would be worthwhile just doing the odd longer run every couple of weeks or so I guess.
