Will be refurbed when funds allow.

Another 39mm of poke. Good luck!

Should sit just nice if my workings out are correct.

If not, a little arch roll/flare won't hurt ;)

What tyres are you putting on them? You will have to roll the arches at a minimum.

You planning on lowering the car too?

They currently run a bit of stretch with 215/35/18's.

Car will eventually be lowered on Coilovers.

Rolling the arches will be done when the wheels go off for a refurb

The load index (84) is not sufficient in those tyres for Octavia. It needs to be atleast 90 or 91 if i can remember correctly. Can't really understand why do you want to make it dangerous to drive with the car? A little poke and tyrestretch i understand but not that you play around with safety like that. Don't know how the law is in your country but in mine that is illegal to put those tyres on 1Z Octavia...

If it were dangerous then half the show cars around today wouldn't get away with threes like they do. I've ran plenty of low profiles over the years with no ill effects.

It's not the low profile what makes the problem here. You can find the load index chart from here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tire_code

Octavia 2 RS Front Front Axle Weight: 1061-1160kg and Rear Axle Weight: 1100kg. You can do the math what happens to tyres that are below the recommended load index...

Looks much better than stock wheels now, when you getting them refurbed? Polished lip will certainly change the look, plus once it's lowered it will look stunning. How you going to adjust the front wheels? They poke out a little more than the rears.

I might throw some spacers on the rear 5 or 10mm. When the arches are rolled I'll get a slight flare on them anyway.
