Which racing game should i buy?

Featured Replies

For the Xbox. I haven't bought any games in months, so any suggestions will be valid. I had hired out Project Gotham 2 but didn't like the lack of feeling in the cars. Used to have Toca race driver and it felt quite realistic.

I hear a lot about Forza, what is it like?, driver feeling, sound, accuracy playability etc??

Are you a fan of sniper/assassin type games? Its just I have a couple of games from the "hitman" series on fleabay at the moment going cheap. Not sure what they're like though.

How does the Xbox driving games compare to say GT4 on the PS2 - I can only comment from one angle so curious what people with both think. :)

Burnout 3 is good for a "pick up and race" arcade type game - good feeling of speed and plenty of races to do.

Forza is definitely the daddy of the racing games for xbox right now though - if you have xbox live you can join the briskoda car club, and see our times on every race you enter :)

Would, but i don't have broadband at home.

Just as well, i'd probably kick all your asses.

Dunno if its available for the xbox but I bought Need for speed underground 2 for the PC a while back and its damn addictive. The races are a little easy once you have modified the car but it has longetivity as to keep modifying you need to keep winning. Among the tuners available (ECU upgrade) are REVO:D, sadly the closest you are going to get to a skoda in this game is a VW golf or an A3. The Skyline is gr8 fun tho:D
