Superb dual exhaust

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I have an MK1, AWX and I'm thinking about upgrading to Dual Exhaust. Something like the exhaust from the attached picture.

So, the are two things that I want to know more about:

1. I've seen some similar upgrades on Romanian forums but for Passat B5.5. The problem is that I didn't find any part for Skoda Superb like the one highlighted in red. For Passat it was simple. Swap with the W8 rear bumper and job done. Any solutions for Superb?

2. The exhaust system. What parts do I need exactly for this upgrade? And what do I need to remove? The exhaust from the Passat 1.9 TDI 4motion isn't compatible due to the fuel tank..

There isn't one available.

In fact, only L&K / Edition 100 Superb had any sort of exhaust cutout, and then it is only on the left hand side of the bumper.

Seriously, don't bother, it really isn't that kind of car.  Find something useful to spend the money on... :)

After a few searches I've gave up.  Maybe I'll upgrade to the L&K rear bumper and exhaust in the future. But that is not a priority right now. I have an ongoing project with my MK1, and when the main work is done I will present it in Superb 1 Projects :)

Thanks jimbof! :)

I have a spare bumper with the single cutout in my garage at the moment, dark metallic grey from an L&K (mine on my Edition 100 has a crack in it).

The reality is I will never find the time to get it resprayed and replaced...

If you are ever in the UK let me know and maybe we can do a deal on it.  It can fit (only just) in the back of a Superb if you have folding seats.

Unfortunately, my rear seats can't be folded and I don't have any road to UK in the near future.. :( Thanks for the offer! Maybe I will find a rear bumper here. Or I will go with Martinus solution.

Thanks! Looks pretty nice. A good option. I wonder if it changes the sound also.

I hear doubling the exhaust makes it go from "brum" to "brum brum" :-p

Haha, good one!   Anywayz, the exhaust must wait. No.1 on the list is V-maxx coilovers. And after that, the exhaust..
