hi there,just bought first fabia but it needs a new interior, only thing is cant work out how to remove the back part of back seat. does anyone have a video or tutorial they could share with me pls

Have you released the outer spring loaded catches?

Ah right.

If you lower the rear seat back and look down the outside of the seat to where the pivot point is you will see a spring loaded catch that goes over the peg that is attached to the seat which it pivots on.

Use a screwdriver to push the spring loaded catch off the pivot peg,and lift the seat to release the peg.

Then you just need to slide the seat outwards,in the middle the pivot pegs are fixed to the cars floor,so the seat has holes in it that locate onto the pegs.

They can be tight to slide out if it's the first time they have ever been removed.

As above but it it has a three point middle belt you will also have to unbolt the bottom retaining bolt.

Takes seconds to whip them out.
