Does the folding service start before you log in

Featured Replies

Hello,

Just wondered if anyone here knew if the service version of folding @ home ran before you log into windows or whether you need to log in to get it to start? If its the second it could scupper my plans.

Yes, it does.

I used top have machines turn themselves on at 9pm so they would fold through the night before turning off again at 7:45am ;)

thats some serious stuff you got going on there.

I just checked the stats. I made the top 20 folders list today at number 15 for the team. Not bad with just my one pc doing the work. Gotta love the power of this thing.
