Climatronic Problem?

Featured Replies

Just got back from a run in the car to my parents and thought the car was a bit chilly.

Looked at the Climatronic console and nothing was lit. The section that showed the outside temp just had -- dashes on it. I could turn the temp up and force air through, but its as if the unit did not know how to adjust temperature.

When I came to drive the car back, everything sprung into life as if nothing has happened.

At the same time as the Climatronic went wierd, my car has gone from "Service in XXX miles" to "Service Now". Still waiting to get the car booked in so could this be related?

cheers

sorry, not helpful, but I have seen this happen once on our 05 superb. It was nighttime and so impossible to see how the climatronic was set. Turning the ignition off and on didn't make any difference.

it had fixed itself the next day.

Suggest you take it into the dealer and get the fault codes checked on VAG com
