Anyone had VRS track rod end problems.

Featured Replies

My VRS is just over a year old 11k miles. Never curbed or hit a large pothole. But car has just started to pull to the left and steering wheel is no longer central when driving in a straight line. Had a quick look at the track rod ends and the passager side rubber is bulging and stretched, where as the drivers sids looks normal. Will try and get some pics. Anyone else had this problem ?

I think I do - I got some clunking and similar symptoms. My steering sometimes is normal and sometimes drifts, which points to something moving on the geometry.

That is probably the cheapest thing to try first.

Could someone check there track rod ends for me to see if they both look the same and not different like mine.

Thanks in advance.

Possibly needs turning back ? / Centralising ? (Turning the passenger's clockwise (as you look from the nearside))
