4 years ago I rejected the i30 as a brand new choice, on the grounds of its cheap ugly interior and awful switch layout. Today I did 200 miles in the current one, a well specced diesel. The outside is very bland where the last one was extravagantly curved. At first I could not guess what it was, Focus? Ceed? The diesel is quite slow and only managed 52 mpg on the motorway trip. The interior is better, but marred by a satnav that looks like a £30 i-pad knock off sticking out of the dash top. Howe
