Hello all,   The light in the glove box was staying on all the time so I disconnected it. I presumed it was something to do with the switch not getting enough travel to turn off and it would appear to be the case as the switch appeared to have "unclipped" itself (top clip). I had a firk around with a screwdriver trying to clip it back in again but I only succeeded in detaching it altogether.   To get at it, I removed the "upper glove box" and went in from above.
