Hi folks

Don't all laugh now. Gave a neighbour a lift this morning in my Elegance 2.8 with all the trimmings. He was estatic about the luxury and all the bits and pieces.

He then said that he hadn't seen many around. Did I know how many were (are) manufactured for the UK?

Now that to me is the million dollar question because I haven't a clue! Is it hundreds, thousands or what?

If nobody knows I guess I'll haul out my 8 year old nephew and his multi-coloured pen to drop a note of enquiry addressed to 'Dear Mr Skoda.............'

If you mean the 2.8 elegance then I would say that there are very few around.I looked all over for a nearly new one and there were not many around.If I see another superb I always look at the rear badge to see if it is a 2.8,but the vast majority are diesels.However I hear some police forces are now using the 2.8 so maybe that will boost numbers a little!!!

Yes Police use 2.8 V6 Classics with 17" alloys.
