I'm clueless how to remove rear view mirror surround on my Octavia MK3 FL VRS. I have the rain sensor version but it differs from the two guides in the Body work workshop manual.   Can anyone advise or direct me to a guide please?   I think the creaking noise I'm suffering in this car is coming from this surround so need to remove to investigate and maybe insulate with foam/padding.
