New Dealer Superb Accessory Info...

Featured Replies

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I was at the Local dealers and there are two things you may find interesting...

1. The new Superb brochures show pictures of accessories that havent been pictured before...i.e the minibar, telephone kit, ice box and rear spolier.

2. Im friendly with the dealer and he showed me some "hot off the press" Skoda information, Skoda now do an official twin pipe Superb sports exhaust!

Hope that info is of some use to someone!

The Minibar you talk about goes in the rear armrest? Yes? You got any more information? I have been looking into this part for some time.

What exhausts are you referring too mate? Something different to the ones on the Edition 100?

Yes, according to the pics, the minibar sits between the rear seats....although it looks like it has a "Hella" product logo on the sides buddy, so Im sure you will be able to get them at a good price yourself!

The exhaust is a proper sports exhaust according to the "Dealer" press release I saw, so it should be a proper backbox. The edition 100 is just a diesel exhaust with chrome twin pipe trim. If I remember correctly, the price on the exhaust was approximately £250. The edition 100 pipes are down swept, the sports exhaust was two chrome pipes that point straight out.

Hope that helps.

Yeah mate, I have seen that one before, it's not the one I was thinking of, I have one of those fridges and I can source it no worries cheaper than the dealer, so let me know if you want one, it's great when you go to the shows, I had it in the old Bora.

This exhaust sounds interesting though, hmmmmmmmmmmm...........

The minbar sits where the ski hatch is and sticks into the boot so you can still use the armrest - which you drop down to access the bar. Not sure where you pick the power up from though.

For accessories see the latest price list http://www.skoda.co.uk/skoda3g/content/showroom/superb/price.pdf

I beg to differ, the picture in the official skoda catalogue clearly shows a hella product on the rear seat with the armrest up. It is described as "Minibar deluxe drinks cooler, secured by standard seats belt. Capacity 6 Litres. (ZGB 000 065 401 A)

I know the one, and its listed by Skoda as a "coolbox", was just trying to clear up the fact its different to the minibar! :)

Consider it cleared up in my eyes mate.

Your spot on mate' date=' but there is also another cool box that Skoda do, which is the one I want that sits in the armrest.

I can tell you now that this does exisit.

I have a diagram of it on my Skoda Catalogue and it is there, trouble is I think that they have priced it so high that no one will buy one because maybe they can't source it anymore?

Sorry mate but your wrong' date=' the 'Mini Bar Deluxe' is as follows:

This item can be purchased from Hella at a cheaper price, I have one as I work for Hella and it's great for the Summer.

The unit I am refering to is as follows and this apparently costs

Profuse apologies (and a malt to go with them if you wish). I've just Googled the part number from the Skoda list and I see exactly what you mean. So does the £500 version stick out into the boot area and the armrest bit act as a glorified access door to the goodies?

It must be some fridge at £500. I'll probably opt for the 50 quid version which works out cheaper than 2 Skoda brollies.

Thanks for keeping me right:thumbup:

The £500 fridge replaces the 'Ski Flap' that you have in your armrest and protrudes into the boot so basically when you pull your armrest down your greated by a fridge door that will hold some cans of beer, trouble is for the money it's ridiculous!!

I mean I am never going to use my wetcase for the Ski's, I can't even Ski or own any Ski's!!

thanks for replys guys

is there ANY other universal one that would fit into that hatch ?
