I just bought one off amazon and plugged it into the usb c.  Heck of a lot cheaper than the Skoda factory option!!!

How’s it fit, just a pad then with cable?

Yup.  I bought a short cable and this

just pop it on top of the exiting tray.  Phone held with no sliding around despite the small looking grips.  It’s hardly noticeable when the phone isn’t there either being black

Not the fastest at charging (no inductive charger is due to the way the current tech works), but if you want to charge it quicker at least the usb c is in a handy spot anyway.  Just shows how much of a ripoff the factory option really is!
