Background lighting-ambient door panel light

Featured Replies

On my car the off-side rear door strip light sometimes goes off when the door is opened and stays off even when the door is closed, it's only on that one door. All the other door lights functions as normal.

And when I go in to the background lights settings and turn off the lights then turn it back on, the door light comes back on..... ?? (Hope that makes sense) lol

Anyone had this issue? Any idea what it could be? 🤔

Thanks

Sounds like a broken wire in the wiring loom between the B-pillar and the door - which will be in rubber sheath between the pillar and the door.
