I have a 2020 Soda Superb. The electric tailgate is not working properly. It doesn't close fully - it is about 3 inches away from fully locked and makes a single beep.

 

It reopens ok but just doesn't close fully.

 

Anyone know why this could be or whether there is a manual override to close it?

Fixed!

 

For future reference...

 

the parcel shelf had come off its tracks and so I am guessing the sensor was picking it up as it got close to shutting!
