Any Ideas whats going on here ??

Featured Replies

Hi All, First off wishing you all a Happy New Year  May it be a better one than the last two.

I have a 2007 1.4 Petrol Mk2 Octavia . Having a problem with the Odeomiter / Trip counter doing its own thing. ( See attached Vid ) If I try to reset the trip counter it goes for a bit then resets itself to zero. Then starts switching as in the video.

Any ideas whats going on here? Will I have to replace the whole Instrument Cluster or is it fixable without a full replacement.

Thanks.

Christy.

Give the button a good push/pull/birl, it's not inconceivable it's sticking from food/drink splashes etc.
