Superb Elegance 2.0 TSD going to breakers

My Superb is off to the breakers. Currently with RPM in New Barnet. When I find out where it's going I'll post back.

I've no space to do anything with it myself so you'll have to make contact with RPM or the breakers.

This is prompted by the desire to fit a dashcam without obscuring anything important. Also, a few times when driving, my SatNav display has changed to night mode & the lights have turned on. I thought I was somehow knocking the light switch to manual but confirmed yesterday it's the sensor kicking in. I tried switching the lights off & got a persistent nag message to turn the lights on, in bright sunshine. I tried adjusting the sensitivity of the sensor & it made no difference. So

Like the title says. Last time I bought a car (2017 2.2 Skyactiv-D Mazda 3), it turned out reviews saying it's really great, missed the part where the diesel engine is garbage when it gets older. Mazda Skyactiv uses very wasteful regen cycle and there's a design flaw in the engine where the valves get a bit leaky as they age, which trips regen more and more often. Claimed mileage is a farce, in reality I'm getting 32-33mpg on the 2.2 diesel automatic. This is something I could have found out by

Okay, I have searched and searched a little bit more but cannot find a definitive answer. Does anybody know the centre cap size for 15" alloy wheels on a Fabia Estate 2015? Mine are on the verge of killing a pedestrian! They also look like they have developed some sort of calcium addiction.

Took delivery of my mk4 estate yesterday - so far, so good! First 'accessory' purchase will, I think, be something to give a bit of protection to the floor and sides of the boot space when carrying loads. Anyone got any recommendations for good-quality, reasonably-priced boot protectors made to fit the car? (Or any suggestions of ones to avoid!)

OTA of System Update not working - TPI?

Hi OTA of System Updates does not work in my car. Does anyone know if there exists a TPI to solve that? For example an update of the firmware of the OTA module. I know there is at least one System update available for my car (confirmed by Skoda), the update of the infotainment software to v1985, but there are no notifications showing up for it and the list in the infotainment showing available updates is empty. I have fulfilled all the requirements listed in the manual in order for OTA of Onl
