2017 Octavia vRS TDI. Dashboard lit up like a christmas tree when selecting Driver 2 profile.

Featured Replies

Hello there.

When I was starting up the car I accidentally selected the Driver 2 profile, (which I haven't set up) instead of my main profile, and for some reason the car threw up an all you can eat buffet of errors.

ESC error, Start/Stop system error, Parking sensors error, TPMS error, Lane assist error and also the yellow power steering light.

Tried 2 restarts on the spot with the correct profile to see if it would fix it, but the errors remained.

Only when I started driving did the errors go out on their own.

Now everything is fine, all of the systems work like they should.

I guess it wouldn't be a true VW/Audi group product if the dashboard didn't light up at least once.

Has anyone else encountered something like this?
