Driving along an illuminated picture can up on my dash . Same as the one that comes up when you have a door/boot lid open. However  it didn't show anything open. It was only visible for a second. Went out and came back on again. Stayed off a few seconds then same thing happened again. Help

Typically these are boot related. Most common reason is aftermarket LEDs in the car. Do you have any?

 

Other common reason is leaking rear washer (internal leak to boot lock).

 

It also might be the boot lock, they go bad (the microswitch that recognise is the boot lock open or closed.).

Thanks. No warning lights came on just the view of the car. I did hit a big pothole so I think it might have given the sensors a bang and bounced everything .
