Best way to scrap a roomster for parts?

Featured Replies

Sadly my roomster has failed it's mot and after 17 years it's given up the ghost. It had fsh, a new cam belt service and steering rack last year but now needs 800 to 1000 of repairs and I'm finally saying goodbye to it. Every year seems to get more expensive and I just can't justify it anymore.

It's been a great car, still drives nicely and because I've kept putting money into it I'm reluctant to just send it to scrap.

Is there a better way to get rid of it where someone can actually make use of the good bits or get it back up and running?
