Alter the coding? Whats that mean? I'm a VAG Com newbie :S

i'm assuming Theresias means the software coding as yours is 00066 , and from whats he said it should be 00064 , but if you've only got a freeware version of the software i don't think you can change it anyway

Thanks for explaining ric04vrs, this is indeed what I meant. Reason is the the 00066 is only valid for 4 door models, while this is a 2-door the appropriate coding should be 00064. However, the general question was if you recently changed your coding?

P.S.: The VC shareware supports coding, so this should not be an issue.
