hi to all from Italy.

Moved to italy last year and my wife now has 1.9tdi estate 4*4 company car.

Bbbefore we moved she had 2005 L&K estate company car. Uk car was on my recommendation having always thought that Skoda's new lineup looked like well made cars and good value for money. In Uk wife was given a budget for company car and i think others at her work were very suprised at the quality and standard of car she got for the money compared to theirs. UK car was great.

Here in Italy life is not going so well. More down to garage and Skoda attitude over here, I will post problems in Octavia section above but for now will say i'm glad it's not our money spent on the car. The actual car could be fantastic but the service / repair !!!! of faults is a real eye opener after UK standards of customer service ( now that must mean here is really bad ).

to sum up, the estate 4*4 1.9tdi could be almost the perfect car here for mountain roads and snow and motorway driving if only skoda customer care was like back home.
