Hi,

I am a new member and wonder if anybody can assist with some problems with my octavia TDI ( 110) which are driving me around the twist. It starts instantly from cold but when warm I have to wind in over and over 6-10 secs depending how warm. Alos when I am slowing down to a halt the engine shakes hesitates like it is going to stall ( never does though) this is intermitant. I have had it checked on vag com by dealer who daid no faults showing but advised changing Mas valve .

I have changed MAS valve, temp sender, relay 109 and fuel filter ( possible air leak) all to no avial still have problems. Its great on fuel, uses no oil.

any suggestions? please???

The valve on top of the fuel filter that is held on by the R clip.

Do you think it could be an air leak from that valve?

It is possible and they are not alot of money and easy to fit.
