Hi Guys.

Here's a power graph of warwick hunt's Fabia vRS with our stage 3 diesel turbo kit installed..

The Red graph is power/torque with stock injectors, the blue graph is stock injectors with water/methanol injection.

Why does power and torque cross at 3250 rpm?

Around 6-7k depending on options and current modifications to vehicle.

They cross because of the graph scaling.. Ours are set to be better to read in comparison to graphs like dyno dynamics etc where you get 2 almost separate graphs..

and when you tune a car for good top-end power, the crossing point of torque/bhp does go up as both peak higher up. Here's an example using my old dyno run from 2007.

(actually, this is a bad example as scaling is different but it shows how peak torque & bhp rises up the rev band at least)

PS: I've just clocked how strong the above Jabba dyno shows the car is at the very top end. Still well WELL over 200bhp as it hits the limiter.

380lb.ft torque & 255bhp on standard injectors & nozzles. Customer has Nitrous ready to fit which is why we've dropped the torque a little on just diesel alone..

Am I reading that pic right as the turbo outlet is coming out the top, not out the bottom?

That's correct.. Pipe on the right is outlet from turbo..

I could do a deal on something for you yeah, however, we're currently developing a different turbo to use as the current one requires quite a bit of custom fabrication to fit..

Can the Siemens PPD ecu do a good enough job of controlling sudden onset of boost on a hybrid though?

Where is the air intake hiding itself, liking the way the FMIC is positioned :)

Unfortunately the derv quality where I live now is nowhere near the quality in Europe, US quality stuff is smokey as hell :(

And still on the EGR valve and standard hose. Lol.

Is he running the cone in box mod?

Yes, standard EGR because if you remove the whole EGR/Anti-Stutter from a BLT engine it throws up a circuit fault because the stepper motor is disconnected.

This car does have the "cone in box" mod, along with a flap system in the bottom of the box which opens up the bottom of the box under high boost conditions.

No, this hasn't been released to the public and has to date only been released on vehicles with our stage 3 turbo kits.
