Got Bluetooth - phonebook/open circuit!

Featured Replies

Recently installed Bluetooth module 7P6...730E on my 59 plate octy, started working (apart from phonebook) even before any coding. I understand phonebook issue is because the module is too new for my bolero unit, I'll have to live with that because can't justify new bolero.

Had pre-arranged with briskoda member martziniuk (very big thank you) to do some coding, scan showed a couple of errors relating to radio which were cleared but one that at time we could not clear;

Have since found a post by Eddie-NL that suggest a code change, that proved successful.

Coding: 0A01000000010101 change to Coding: 0A01000000010110

My question is how important is that 'open circuit' fault be cleared? Can it wait till I next get some coding done, or should I sort it out quickly? (martziniuk very kindly said any problems call back, but I don,t want to take up any more of his time unless necessary).

stop worrying about it, the fault is there because the phone module is looking for something that is not there

Thanks Eddie, the worrying has ceased!
