I made a quick guide on how to remove the front bumper and headlights on the MK3 Fabia 2018 model.

First off, let me start by writing, that i am sorry. A few good pictures are missing and i do not know what happen to them, so this might not be the _complete_ guide i hoped for, but at least it will get you very far. Everything you see was performed by a professional aka not me. Removing the front bumper is essential to removing the headlights to install HID/Xenon or LED lights. This is the sole reason this was done. I don't know the dimensions of the Torx screws, but they should be standard as with many other cars. The car: First off, removing screws underneath the car: Few extra pictures: Then removing the screws under the bonnet: After that removing all screws in the wheel arch: Removing the plastic cover marked as blue will give some access to the bulbs and make it a bit easier to change them. After removing all the screws in the wheel arch on both sides it should be easy to loosen it and gain access to the screws holding the front bumper. There are two on each side and my mechanic spend a lot of time getting to the one in the back. There's no space and it requires very small hands. I've marked their approximate location as seen from the outside. Now the front bumper can be removed. You might need to use a little force. Only 3 screws hold the headlight in place: Remember to disconnect the wires to the headlight.

How to light up back dome light when opening doors.

Nice write up! If you dont want the front lights to come on, when the back passengers turn on the dome to check out their smartphones or tablets, you can use a rectifier. -

Over the past few days my Rapid has developed a very annoying rattle behind the passenger side dash. It goes away if i press the re circulation button on my Climate control. Sounds like a flap or motor turning fast, so that it sounds like click button being pressed continuously. I'm planning on seeing a Skoda dealer as soon as possible. Cars is 1.6 TDI from may 2013 with 53K miles on the clock. Warranty runs out this may.

Early EGR valve failure - known problem
Cown replied to Mayor of Newark's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
Yes of course. You can do it whenever you want. If you have problems now just have Shark disable it then it drives like a charm again. You don't necessarily need to have the performance increased. There should be "EGR delete" only mods. Those are also cheaper. Call Shark or whoever you prefer and ask. -

Just have the EGR system disabled at Shark Performance or something like that. Cheaper to do and engine will run a lot better and give you better mpg. -
I'm using: http://www.powerbulbs.com/eu/product/philips-xtreme-vision-130-h7-twin Great distance and visually big difference from normal bulbs. Not lasting as long, but i don't mind.

Water collecting in rear doors
Cown replied to RapidRonnie's topic in Skoda Rapid & Spaceback (2012 > )
I just had this (water in rear doors) fixed yesterday at dealer with no questions asked. Took 15 mins. Doors were almost full, took some time to drain. Car is at 50625 miles, 1½ years old. It has been my only fault so far. -
