  1. Sat nav antenna has arrived so that will be in with the Columbus. I've changed the price to £400 at the top.
  2. I'm not sure about that but I would guess it is for Shark only remaps.
  3. For sale is a Shark STS unit with cable. It's in excellent condition. This would allow you to switch between a Shark remap and standard map on your car. You would still need to buy the actual remap software from Shark, the handset allows you to switch between the two maps whenever you want and also shows diagnostic fault codes. It also has an immobiliser mode which stops the car being started if you were leaving it for a while. The handset reads your original engine map which can then be emailed to Shark by plugging the STS into a computer. They do their work on the map, email the remap back then you can load it onto the car. You can then switch between the 2 using the STS handset. The car it was for was put back to the standard map which should allow a new user to use it on any car Shark says it is compatible with. £60 posted.
  4. I have bought a new sat nav antenna to go with the Columbus so everything needed is included now.
  5. I've got a Shark STS box and I'm just wondering if anything needs done to it before I could sell it? I'm not sure if the box needs reset or wiped or anything like that for a new user. I tried phoning Shark themselves but the guy I spoke to didn't know and they never phoned back to let me know.
  6. It doesn't look exactly the same as mine, which is a T shape where as yours is an L shape, but as you tighten up it will eventually click and feel like something has slipped or given way inside the wrench when you get to the correct torque and that's it done.
  7. The Columbus has 2 white aerial inputs and the blue GPS input. The original Stream stereo just has the one aerial input so the adapter gives both Columbus inputs a signal. I'm not exactly sure why this is but some stuff I had read suggested it's to do with receiving AM/FM and traffic information signals at the same time. I don't know if you would get away with just the one aerial plug going into it as I had already bought the adapter before installing it so it will come with the stereo. I'm guessing cars which have the Columbus from the factory must have 2 cables running from the aerial or something.
  8. I'd lost track of the more recent firmwares and had never updated it again after it was first installed but that's good to know, thanks.
